This sanctuary provides rehabilitation, and advocacy for wild birds living in captivity. Around noon on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 an unidentified person missed a curve on their street and drove directly into their building causing significant damage. They were lucky to have their volunteer staff on site at the time. All of the birds and their volunteer staff are okay. The driver of the car drove away. While they have insurance on the building, costs will still be significant.
